Distinctive pink snapdragon-like flowers resembling a turtle's open mouth bloom in late summer and fall when the garden most needs color. One of the only native plants that thrives in deep, wet shade. Bumblebees are its primary pollinators and seek it out enthusiastically. Forms tidy clumps that don't spread aggressively.
