A truly special native wildflower with stunning blue-purple flower spikes in late spring and beautiful palmate foliage. The only eastern native lupine and the sole host plant for the federally endangered Karner Blue butterfly. Growing this plant is a genuine conservation act. Tolerates poor, sandy soils and fixes nitrogen.
