A pollinator magnet with spikes of violet-blue flowers that bloom for weeks in summer. The anise-scented foliage is a bonus: rub a leaf and enjoy the licorice fragrance. Bees absolutely swarm this plant from morning to dusk. Upright and architectural, it pairs beautifully with coneflowers and black-eyed Susans.
