A delicate, fine-textured sedge that forms neat, star-shaped clumps in woodland conditions. One of the best small sedges for naturalizing under trees and along shady paths. The narrow leaves give a refined, lacy appearance to shaded groundcover plantings. Tolerates dry shade better than most sedges.
