One of the first native wildflowers to bloom in spring, with clusters of brilliant golden-yellow flowers that feed early-emerging pollinators when little else is available. An important host plant for Black Swallowtail butterflies. Tolerates partial shade and moist conditions. A reliable, easy-care native that brightens spring gardens.
