A delicate native beardtongue with soft, hairy foliage and pale violet-white tubular flowers in early summer. More compact than foxglove beardtongue and excellent for dry, rocky conditions. The hairy foliage is distinctive and attractive even when not in bloom. Native bees and small bumblebees are devoted visitors.
