A Maryland native with cheerful golden-yellow daisy flowers in late summer and fall, paired with silvery-hairy foliage that's attractive all season. One of the few native wildflowers named after Maryland. Excellent for dry, sunny spots and sandy soils where many plants struggle. Attracts late-season bees and butterflies.
