The most elegant and upright of the goldenrods, with tall, stately plumes of brilliant golden-yellow flowers rising straight up rather than arching. Creates a bold vertical statement in the fall garden. More well-behaved than many goldenrods, forming clumps rather than spreading aggressively. A favorite of native bees and butterflies.
