A distinctive prairie grass with tiny oat-like seeds dangling from one side of the stem, hence the name. Turns lovely shades of tan, orange, and purple in fall. This mid-height grass is tough as nails and thrives where other plants struggle. Excellent for dry, sunny spots and a beautiful companion to butterfly weed and prairie coneflowers.
